Just a few days after Android Wear is launched, Motorola has officially announced its Android Wear based Smartwatch and It’s aesthetically the best SmartWatch available so far. ‘Best’ doesn’t mean that it’s the most advanced or sophisticated one, rather it has got the perfect design (shape) how watches (irrespective of their smartness) must look – The Traditional Circle and that names the watch- Moto 360 (Angle of Circle is 360 degree).
While the shape alone steals the entire show, Motorola is clever in making Moto 360 an enhanced wrist watch rather than trying to pack a smartphone (cc: Sony/Samsung) in the wrist strap. Motorola has tried to enhance the operations of a watch with Android Wear to provide alerts, notifications from your Smartphone and simple tasks that are possible via Google’s Mantra ‘OK Google’ which is capable of giving the user access from Emails to Maps and that could open the entire internet in the wrist.
Motorola didn’t reveal any technical specification about Moto 360, it has confirmed that there is no Camera in Moto 360 and also that the battery would last longer than the current smartwatches.
Having said this, there could a beautiful thing about Moto 360, i.e., it doesn’t look like a sci-fi smartwatch but when people assume so and you talk to the device saying ‘OK Google’ – that craziness should sell this device like anything and let’s see how market accepts this smartwatch. Moto 360 is expected to arrive this Summer starting from USA in a variety of Styles and for Apple, Moto 360 would be a big competitor, if Apple’s going to launch one. Before that Will you be interested in buying Moto 360 which is not stupidlike the alternatives in the market?
